Got an awesome deal on the Scrubbing Bubbles One Step Toilet Bowl Cleaner Starter kits. They are normally $9.99 everywhere, but in this week's Wal-Mart ad they were on sale for $3.97. I don't buy a lot of the cleaning systems advertised on T.V, but when I saw that there was a $4 off coupon in the paper and printable online, I thought I might get one and see if I like it, since it would be free. So, not being a fan of Wal-Mart, I went over to Target and got it there with the ad showing the lower price (love that they will ad match the price!) and I got myself one, and used the 5% off from their debit card too. I brought it home, tried it out and like it a lot. Gives a good fresh sent to the bathroom and helps to keep the toilet clean. So today I went back on my way home from school to get 5 more the with the coupons I had (2 printed off the internet and 3 from the paper).
Here's how the transaction went:
5 Starter kits @ $3.97 = 19.85
-(5) $4 off coupons= $20
Subtotal = -0.15
Tax:$1.20
Total=$1.05 or (21¢ a piece)
I'd say that's a pretty good deal for a 5 month supply!
PLUS two of the boxes had coupons in them for BOGO refills. Pairing them with a store coupon (I have ones for Target) and I could get some a couple refills for really cheap!
Hey, what newspaper do you use for these awesome coupons? I look in the Orlando Sentinel express that I get for free occasionally, but I don't usually see much that's really useful.
ReplyDeletegahh Laura dont be one of those people! Target is already struggling, not to mention try to match walmarts impossibly low prices. We havent made sales quotas in 4 months and I have had to lay off 3 cashiers already this quarter. Manufacturer coupons are good, ad match kills us. :(
