Cheap Make-up and free candy bar

The deal that started today for the $5 Extracare bucks when you spend $15 on Covergirl ended up being a great deal! I got 3 of the eyeshadows for $3.79 each and one of the eye pencil pack that came with a sharpener that I needed (score!) for $4.19. I had a $5 off $15 make-up purchase from the coupon center, combining that with 2 $3 off 2 Covergirl products coupons. I also snagged a Unreal candy bar that was 75¢ which was offering 75¢ in Extracare bucks back. The Unreal bars are a slightly healthier alternative to the major candy bars like Snickers, Milk Way, and M&Ms. The ingredient label is comprised of words you can pronounce. They are aren't full of a bunch of artificial ingredients, corn syrup, and preservatives. I like that they also don't contain any GMOs. Not exactly health food, but I'm a fan of the healthier alternative to those major brands. I got the "snickers" one and it tasted really good, it didn't last long enough to make the picture. I used $5 in Extracare bucks and only paid 93¢ out of pocket for everything. I saw not to bad for make-up and a candy bar. I added a picture of the receipt so you could see the break down.

Good day shopping

Today at CVS, I spent a total of 18¢ out of pocket. I got 4 bottles of Head and Shoulders and 2 trial size tins of Nivea Soft Creme. The Head and Shoulders is normally priced at $5.99 each, and this week there is was a sale for buy one, get one 50% off, so the second ends up being  $2.99. In the P&G coupons from July 1st there was a buy one, get one free coupon, but at CVS the coupon took of the maximum value ($9.49) off automatically. That made the total -$1.02 with tax ($1.08) it made the total a whopping 6¢! On my next transaction I got the Nivea creme. There was a coupon printing from coupon center for $1 off any Nivea hand and body moisturizer which are 99¢ each. I only paid tax (12¢) for both of them. Plus, to make it even better I got my $1 extra care buck from my green bag tag making the transactions a money maker.

I love CVS!

CVS Shopping tonight!

Tonight I'll be going to CVS for their Thanksgiving weekend sales that start tonight at midnight. There are over $150 of free deals that I will only be spending $8-9 on in tax. There are so many good deals and after I'll still be left with $20-$24 in Extracare Bucks to spend on anything in the store. This is the most excited I've been to go shopping at CVS and I hope that they have plenty in stock at their store so that I can get all the deals that I hoped for. I'm also happy to have Gerald coming with me tonight to help. He helps me find what I need and will help with the multiple transactions we'll be doing. Can't wait to post what I get!

A clean bathroom for free!

Got an awesome deal on the Scrubbing Bubbles One Step Toilet Bowl Cleaner Starter kits. They are normally $9.99 everywhere, but in this week's Wal-Mart ad they were on sale for $3.97. I don't buy a lot of the cleaning systems advertised on T.V, but when I saw that there was a $4 off coupon in the paper and printable online, I thought I might get one and see if I like it, since it would be free. So, not being a fan of Wal-Mart, I went over to Target and got it there with the ad showing the lower price (love that they will ad match the price!) and I got myself one, and used the 5% off from their debit card too. I brought it home, tried it out and like it a lot. Gives a good fresh sent to the bathroom and helps to keep the toilet clean. So today I went back on my way home from school to get 5 more the with the coupons I had (2 printed off the internet and 3 from the paper).
Here's how the transaction went:
5 Starter kits @ $3.97 = 19.85
-(5) $4 off coupons= $20
Subtotal = -0.15
Tax:$1.20
Total=$1.05 or (21¢ a piece)
I'd say that's a pretty good deal for a 5 month supply!
PLUS two of the boxes had coupons in them for BOGO refills. Pairing them with a store coupon (I have ones for Target) and I could get some a couple refills for really cheap!

Paid to shop!

I got 2 Covergirl blushes, originally priced at $3.74 each, making it $7.48 and after tax, the total was $7.93. With a $8 off 2 Covergirl face products from this week's paper, they total was -0.07. They actually paid me the 7¢ from the register! I was amazed that I didn't need to buy anything extra. Free plus profit is spectacular!

Sunday shopping at CVS

I got some goodies at CVS this morning. I used coupons on all the items and had a $4 off $20 purchase and a $5 of ExtraCare bucks making my total $1.45 (the tax). I got $6 of ExtraCare bucks back from the transaction!
